Don't Miss Out!

I am running a contest via LinkGrand! Join today and participate in my clicking contest!

It's pretty simple.

1. Through this link, join linkgrand.

2. Send me a comment (will only be visible to me) with your referral link and you paypal account email address. Also, include any other email address you might use if you are not on mylot very often - I want to be sure that I can get in touch with you if I need to, or if you win!

3. Click! Linkgrand pays per click (.0033 ) there are plenty of clicks each day, and the minimum cashout for the site is very low (5 dollars)

This contest is going to run until august fifteenth. There are frequently new links all day at this site, so if you are ptc savvy, you have a good chance of winning. As always, you must obey the rules of Linkgrand or you will be disqualified (ie no multiple accounts) Whoever has the most clicks at the end of the contest will get a prize via paypal.

As of right now, the prize via paypal is going to be 75 cents for the winner and 25 cents for the runner up. The winner and the runner up will also be featured on my blog as the winners, with a picture, a link of choice and a short excerpt from the contestant. This will be displayed until I have the winners of the next contest I plan to run, which hasn't been decided yet.

Depending on how many people enter this contest, I will change the prizes to something greater than what they are now. This could mean that I will give the first and second prize winners more, or I will add a third prize in. I will keep all contestants updated throughout the contest of who is in the lead, and if the prizes will be increased.

Good Luck!

Memolink: WASTE OF TIME

For the past couple months, I have been getting daily emails from Memolink. You click on these links in the emails, which will bring you to a website, and you are awarded 6 points for checking out the site. The site is kind of funny - it shows a status bar with 0$ - $10, and it tells you how many points you have, but it doesn't tell you the relation between the points and dollars (how much is one point worth? How many points do you need to cash out?) Frustrated, I checked out the FAQs and it didn't help. Finally, I posted a topic on MyLot to see if anyone else knew about this site, and I was told you need 19200 points to cash out, which would equal ten dollars. So, according to my calculations, you would need 1920 points to equal a dollar, or 19.2 points to equal a cent. Each email is 6 points. According to my calculations, you would need to click on 3.2 emails, just to earn a cent. That's not worth it.

This site has been ruled: A Waste of time.

PromoSquad

So, this morning I joined a new site; PromoSquad. Apparently, you rate music for points towards prizes. It seems fairly easy, so I am going to give it a shot! I'll give a better review on this site once I have worked at it for a bit!

Update, Five minutes after posting this review: Every time I try to access my referral link, this site logs me out. I hope this isn't an ongoing bug in the system.

OpinionOutpost

Lately, I have been obsessed with doing surveys on the internet. I like having my opinions heard and I like getting in home trials. Completing surveys pays much more than paid to click, or paid to post sites, so I figured I would take advantage of all of the sites that I have been a member of, and ignored. I went to OpinionOutpost, and saw that I had a number of surveys that I haven't taken yet. Well, the other night, I completed all of the ones I qualified for. I promptly requested my check for six dollars and am waiting for it at the moment. These surveys are pretty easy and well paying. The point system makes sense - each point is worth ten cents, so if you are offered a survey for ten points, that's one dollar. I had a pretty good experience with taking the surveys on this site - they weren't too tedious. Let's see how quickly I get my check! This site doesn't have a super referral system, I have to refer users through email, so if you are interested in signing up, leave a comment here with your email, and I will send an invite to you!

Update 6/3/2009: I got my first check today! Six whole dollars! I am almost at cashout, again, too!

SurveySpot

SurveySpot is a site that emails you whenever a new survey is available for you to take. The surveys on SurveySpot pay much more than most sites (usually $3- $5 per survey, but I have seen ones for $10 or $20 too) - the trouble is qualifying for them. The past few weeks I keep qualifying for them! I am now awaiting a $10.00 check in the mail.. I can't wait!

UPDATE 5/26/2009: So, yesterday I was happy to see a ten dollar check from surveyspot in the mail.

It feels like I waited a long while for the check, but I am pretty sure I was just being antsy. Recently, I have qualified for a LOT of surveys, and completed them, as well. It takes 6 to 8 weeks for your rewards to show in your account, so I am not sure how much I have earned since requesting the check. BUT, I got invited to do an in home trial for survey spot, I can't say what about, obviously, but it's well paying (over 100 dollars.) I am waiting on receiving the materials in my home as we speak!

MyPoints

I am not sure why, but I never put MyPoints up on here! I have been a member of this site for a few months, and they will send you daily emails that you click on in order to receive points. You earn points from shopping, too. There are occasional surveys, but I never bother with those. Once you have about 1400 points, you can redeem them for a giftcard of your choice. There are TONS of different giftcards to choose from. I requested my giftcard a couple weeks ago. Last night when I got home from work, I opened my mailbox to find a $10.00 CVS card!
